RAW VEGETABLE WRAPS

Many people struggle with easily getting the recommended 3-5 servings of vegetables a day.

An excellent and easy way to get one or two additional servings is by making your own wraps from veggies and fresh herbs.

While most wraps found in restaurants and supermarkets are using refined grains, suhgar, cheap vegetable oils, preservatives, flavorings and other chemicals, my homemade raw food wraps contain nothing else but vegetables, fresh herbs, flax seeds, psyllium husks, Himalayan salt and depending on the chosen main vegetable a dash of lemon juice or an apple and banana.

Furthermore, dehydrating the wraps at maximum 42° C (108° F) assures, that all vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients are kept alive. So you will get all the goodness from fresh vegetables., health-building omega3 fats from the flax and loads of additional soluble fiber from the psyllium husks.

Red pepper (mixed with zucchini, apple, banana), zucchini (with fresh basil leaves) and pumpkin all make a great variety of delicious and flavorful wraps in raw food quality.

Now all you need to do is to get creative with the fillings and start rolling-up your extra portion of vegetable.

Enjoy!
